Tracking NYC Snow Removal discrepancy

This map shows the number of times every single block in New York City was *visited by snow removal trucks from the Department of Sanitation. You may notice discrepancies in snow removal efforts across different neighborhoods, as blocks in warmer colors were visited less frequently, while those in cooler colors saw more visits.

*A “visit” does not necessarily mean the block was cleared; rather, a DSNY truck's GPS signal indicates that it passed through the location.
