Tracking NYC Snow Removal discrepancy

This map illustrates the number of times each block was *“visited” by a Department of Sanitation snow removal trucks since the snowstorm began on January 25, 2026. You may notice discrepancies in snow removal efforts across different neighborhoods, as blocks in warmer colors were visited less frequently, while those in cooler colors saw more visits.

*A “visit” does not necessarily mean the block was cleared; rather, a DSNY truck's GPS signal indicates that it passed through the location.
